The day school aims to provide networking and CPD opportunities for anyone with an interest in local studies and heritage (whether working in libraries, archives, museums, or education, with small community groups, or independently). The day will explore the barriers to learning and connecting, and some of the exciting ways in which libraries, archives and museums are embracing the opportunities offered by partnerships, technology and funding to bridge the gaps.
